Merhaba. I’m a Turkish Citizen who was raised and works in the US.

In Oct. 2008, I traveled with a delegation from the ATAA (Assembly of Turkish American Associations) to Ankara and Kibris looking for ways to help promote the growth of Turkish high-technology business and companies. Today, I came across  your name on the TAFTIE, TTGV and iVCi websites. I’m wondering whether your organizations or others that you might know (Turkish commercial or military companies or programs) could benefit from my experience and skills in a Software Management, Program Management or Product Management. I performed my Turkish military service in 2002.

I have twenty years of software development, management and program management experience. As you’ll see from my attached resume, I’ve successfully led many teams to deliver to spec, on time and on budget many commercial products (Windows, Linux, Mac and Embedded systems). I’m experienced managing small teams as well as large, broad teams; including those spread out geographically (US, Europe and Asia). I’ve worked at companies delivering consumer products, board level products as well as chip level products and for large corporations as well as startups. My teams have included folks from legal, business development, marketing, sales, pr, documentation, industrial design, sw & hw engineering, build & configuration, translations, quality, IT, customer support, FAEs, import/export, manufacturing and operations.

I have very strong technical skills. My software design, programming and debugging skills are especially strong. I have written many device drivers, middleware modules and libraries as well as applications across a broad spectrum of technologies in C and C++; including networking and communications, file systems and graphics. I have a 4.0 GPA pursuing my MSCS from California State University. I earned my BSEE from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY (not too far from Syracuse).

My current company, Logitech, has suffered a massive loss of net revenues and is substantially reducing its workforce. They informed me that my own position will be eliminated on March 23^rd and suggested I find alternate employment as soon as possible. Given my skills and experience, I envision I could contribute to Turkish sales and product marketing efforts in the US, promote outsourcing, act as a liaison for Turkish-US ventures/programs and help Turkish R&D teams anywhere in the world (in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East or Asia).
